The Brooklyn Entrance is on Tillary street and begins with a short walk to the actual bridge.
The closest subway stations are the 2/3 Clark St and A/C High St.
(There is a second Brooklyn entrance, a staircase located by the beginning of the bridge, on Cadman Plaza East, between Sands St and Prospect St. starting here allows you to begin walking immediately on the bridge itself).
The Manhattan entrance is located directly across from City Hall and is easily accessible from the 4/5/6 J/M/Z Brooklyn Bridge City Hall subway station.
