Living Maritime History in Mystic, Connecticut

Mystic Seaport Museum stands as one of the best family destinations in Connecticut. This 19-acre living history museum on the Mystic River brings 19th-century seafaring life to life in a beautiful waterfront setting.

Visitors walk through a recreated coastal village complete with historic buildings, a working shipyard, and tall ships. The star attraction is the Charles W.
