Summit – One Vanderbilt

Breathtaking Views & Immersive Art High Above Midtown Manhattan

Summit One Vanderbilt offers one of New York City’s most thrilling observation deck experiences. Located atop the tallest skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, it combines stunning 360-degree views with mind-bending immersive art installations that make it fun for the whole family.

Visitors explore three floors filled with reflective mirrors, infinity rooms, and interactive art. The highlight is Levitation — two transparent glass skyboxes that extend out from the building over 1,100 feet above the streets below. Many families also enjoy Ascent, the world’s largest external glass-bottomed elevator, which gives an unforgettable ride up the side of the building.

Kids and adults alike love the mirrored floors, light installations, and photo opportunities that create endless fun reflections. The experience feels part observation deck, part modern art museum, and part thrill ride — all with sweeping views of the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the entire skyline.

This attraction works well for Chol Hamoed, special family outings, or anytime you want wow-factor views without being outdoors. Plan to spend 1–2 hours exploring the different floors and taking in the city from above.

Summit One Vanderbilt is open daily with extended evening hours. Last entry is typically 9:30 PM or 10:00 PM depending on the day. Tickets are timed, so booking in advance online is highly recommended, especially on weekends and holidays.
