Instead of just automatically dumping everything we found on the internet, (that small park in Hoboken no one goes to? on the site! the Grand Canyon? how can you not! a boat ride in Guatemala? Si! and how can we forget the Alamo?!), here we actually included things that are within realistic distance of the NYC Tri-state-area, and actually worth travelling to.

Because no one wants to drive an hour to reach a place that’s worse than staying at home.

Every activity is manually checked and reviewed to make sure it’s something a family would enjoy doing Chol Hamoed (and also not Chol Hamoed, and Chanukah, and that week between camp and school).
